The Seymour Owls basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Scottsburg Warriors to 36 in the Owls non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Owls now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Charlestown for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Seymour will confront a Pirates team coming off a 60-52 league loss to Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Scottsburg falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Madison (Madison, IN) to confront the Cubs in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29. The Cubs go into the game with a record of 5-9. Madison won 80-59 in their recent non-league game against New Washington (New Washington, IN)
