The Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) basketball were winner over the visiting Wagoner Bulldogs (Wagoner, OK), 55-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Salina for a Five Lakes bout on Tuesday, January 28. Sequoyah will play a Wildcats team coming off a 58-54 league win over Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, Wagoner falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK) to play the Tigers in a Verdigris Valley bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Fort Gibson won 86-51 in their recent non-league bout against Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK)
