The Southwest Trojans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Spokane Owls to 36 in the Trojans league triumph on Saturday.

The Trojans now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Lighthouse Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Southwest will confront a Chargers team coming off a 74-47 non-league loss to Hartville (Hartville, MO). The Chargers record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Spokane falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Owls host Pleasant Hope (Pleasant Hope, MO) to confront the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 28. The Pirates enter the outing with a record of 11-4.
