Indiana High School Basketball - Union County overwhelms Southwestern

January 25, 2025: Liberty, IN 47353

The Union County Patriots basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Southwestern Spartans to 30 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centerville for a Tri-Eastern game on Thursday, January 30. Union County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-55 non-league win over Richmond (Richmond, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Southwestern falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host Waldron (Waldron, IN) to confront the Mohawks in a Mid-Hoosier game on Friday, January 31. The Mohawks go into the game with a record of 8-7. Waldron won 62-45 in their recent non-league game against Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN)
