Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Norwin can't hold off Bishop Guilfoyle

Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA), 53-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bishop Guilfoyle upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Marauders host Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA) to face the Eagles in a Laurel Highlands match on Monday, January 27. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-10. Bald Eagle Area lost 36-22 in their recent non-league match against Glendale (Flinton, PA)

The Knights now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Upper St. Clair for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Norwin will face a Panthers squad coming off a 45-38 league loss to Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.
