Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Norman North Timberwolves (Norman, OK), 55-45 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Bixby advances its record to 16-2 on the year. The Spartans host Owasso (Owasso, OK) to meet the Rams in a 6A District 3 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Rams enter the match with a record of 10-8.

The Timberwolves now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Putnam City for a 6A District 1 bout on Friday, January 31. Norman North will play a Pirates team coming off a 60-39 non-league loss to Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 3-9.
