The Rockets (11-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 25-1 record. In their last challenge, Washington prevailed over Manual (Peoria, IL), 55-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Purple Raiders battle the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Bloomington will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 67-43 non-league win over Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
