Montana High School Basketball - Chester-Joplin-Inverness sneaks past Hays-Lodge Pole

The Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks (Chester, MT) basketball edged the visiting Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds (Hays, MT), 36-35 in Saturday's league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Big Sandy for a C District 9 bout on Friday, January 31. Chester-Joplin-Inverness will play a Pioneers team coming off a 41-38 league win over Turner (Turner, MT). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Hays-Lodge Pole falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Thunder birds travel to Box Elder (Box Elder, MT) to play the Bears in a C District 9 bout on Friday, January 31. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Box Elder lost 49-42 in their recent league bout against North Star (Rudyard, MT)
