California High School Basketball - St. Ignatius College Preparatory holds off Christian Brothers

January 25, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94116

The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Christian Brothers Falcons to 52 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Riordan for a West Catholic game on Tuesday, January 28. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 44-37 league win over Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Christian Brothers falls to 16-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Capital Valley Conference game on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-11. Vista del Lago won 61-23 in their recent league game against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA)
