Ohio High School Basketball - Crestwood overwhelms Springfield

The Crestwood Red Devils basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Springfield Spartans to 22 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Red Devils now have a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kirtland for a Chagrin Valley - Valley game on Wednesday, January 29. Crestwood will confront a Hornets team coming off a 53-14 non-league win over St. Martin de Porres (Cleveland, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Springfield falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Spartans host Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH) to face the Tiger in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Tiger enter the match with a record of 1-10. Lake Center Christian lost 44-27 in their recent non-league match against Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH)
