The Greenville Trojans (Greenville, PA) basketball edged the host Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA), 40-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Slippery Rock for a District 10 Region 4 bout on Monday, January 27. Greenville will play a Rockets team coming off a 50-44 league win over Grove City (Grove City, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Saegertown falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA) to play the Devils in a District 10 Region 2 bout on Monday, January 27. The Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Cambridge Springs lost 49-47 in their recent league bout against Cochranton (Cochranton, PA)
