The Osceola Chieftains basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Hayward Hurricanes to 37 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chieftains now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Altoona for a Middle Border game on Monday, January 27. Osceola will confront a Railroaders team coming off a 52-36 league win over Somerset (Somerset, WI). The Railroaders record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Hayward falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Northwestern (Maple, WI) to confront the Tigers in a Heart O'North game on Tuesday, January 28. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 10-4. Northwestern won 69-42 in their recent league game against St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI)
