The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) and the host John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), observed The Covenant's basketball team overwhelm John Marshall by a score of 62-27.
The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopewell (Hopewell, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Hopewell was routed by Thomas Dale (Chester, VA), 66-54, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Justices encounter the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. John Marshall will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record.
