The Julian Jaguars basketball squad (Chicago, IL), was nudged 42-40 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL)
With the victory, Thornwood advances its record to 3-22 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Thornton (Harvey, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a Southland battle on Monday, January 27. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 7-11. Thornton won 54-22 in their recent league battle against Thornridge (Dolton, IL)
The Jaguars now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catalyst-Maria for a Chicago Public - White South/Central battle on Wednesday, January 29. Julian will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 41-14 league win over Carver (Chicago, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 5-4.
