The Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] Pirates basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Wilton/Wing Miners to 34 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 5-8 record.

With the loss, Wilton/Wing falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Miners host White Shield (Roseglen, ND) to confront the Warriors in a B District 8 game on Monday, January 27. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-10. White Shield lost 61-25 in their recent league game against Center-Stanton (Center, ND)
