The Maysville Panthers defeated the visiting River View Black Bears basketball squad by a final score of 50-31 in Saturday's league outing.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Crooksville Ceramics (Crooksville, OH) in a Muskingum Valley outing, on Wednesday, January 29. Maysville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Ceramics come into the outing with a 5-12 record after their 50-29 league loss to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH).
The Black Bears (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Little Muskies come into the Muskingum Valley outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, John Glenn was defeated by Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH), 60-20, in a non-league outing.
