Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD), 51-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Mount de Sales Academy upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Sailors travel to Notre Dame Prep (Towson, MD) to face the in a IAAM B match on Monday, January 27. The enter the match with a record of 8-3. Notre Dame Prep lost 50-35 in their recent league match against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD)

The Vikings now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Severn School for a IAAM B match on Wednesday, January 29. St. John's Catholic Prep will face a Admirals squad coming off a 57-49 non-league win over Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD). The Admirals record now stands at 13-4.
