In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Sallisaw Black Diamonds basketball team scored a close 38-31 win over the Wagoner Bulldogs.

The Black Diamonds (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Muldrow (Muldrow, OK). The Bulldogs come into the NOAA contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Muldrow edged Eufaula (Eufaula, OK), 51-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) in a Verdigris Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Wagoner will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 13-2 record after their 66-59 non-league win over Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK).
