Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Avon holds off Strongsville

The Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) ice hockey held off the host Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Normandy for a non-league outing on Sunday, January 26. Avon will encounter a Invaders team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Lake (Millbury, OH). The Invaders record now stands at 13-10.

With the defeat, Strongsville moves to 9-17 on the season. The Mustangs host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to encounter the Royals in a outing on Sunday, January 26.
