The Pingree Highlanders ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties to 1 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.

The Highlanders now hold a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worcester Academy for a bout on Wednesday, January 29. Pingree will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 6-5 league win over North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-9.

With the defeat, Mount St. Charles Academy moves to 8-6 on the season. The Mounties travel to Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Portsmouth Abbey lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA)
