In Saturday's league contest, the host Andrean Fighting 59ers basketball team scored a close 53-50 triumph over the Highland Trojans.
The Fighting 59ers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Wildcats go into the contest with a 9-1 record.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a contest, on Friday, January 31. Highland will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record.
