New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola routs Manzano

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cibola Cougars basketball team scored a big 77-47 triumph over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Rio Rancho was trounced by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 70-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Manzano will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Matadors go into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 78-68 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
