Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), 44-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chicago Christian upgrades its record to 6-18 on the season. The Knights travel to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a Metro Suburban bout on Friday, January 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Riverside-Brookfield won 64-50 in their recent league bout against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)

Next up, the Astros play the Holy Trinity Tigers (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 27. Shepard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
