Maryland High School Basketball - Kenwood topped by Overlea

The Overlea Falcons basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Kenwood Bluebirds to 48 in the Falcons league victory on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catonsville for a Baltimore County 2 contest on Friday, January 28. Overlea will battle a Comets team coming off a 57-55 league win over Randallstown (Randallstown, MD). The Comets record now stands at 5-5.

The Bluebirds (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD). The Bay Hawks come into the Baltimore County 2 contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Chesapeake was defeated by Towson (Towson, MD), 69-52, in a non-league contest.
