The Canton South Wildcats basketball team (Canton, OH), was nudged 42-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH)
The Red Riders now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest for a Principals battle on Saturday, January 29. Orrville will battle a Indians team coming off a 66-36 non-league win over Washington (Massillon, OH). The Indians record now stands at 15-2.
The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Warriors come into the Eastern Buckeye battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, West Branch was nudged by Salem (Salem, OH), 44-39, in a league battle.
