The Pinkerton Astros basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Exeter Blue Hawks to 57 in the Astros league triumph on Wednesday.
The Astros now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity for a Division I contest on Monday, January 31. Pinkerton will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 51-43 league loss to Manchester Memorial (Manchester, NH). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-12.
The Blue Hawks (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Londonderry (Londonderry, NH). The Lancers enter the Division I contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Londonderry was defeated by Merrimack (Merrimack, NH), 66-56, in a league contest.
