The Wethersfield Flying Geese basketball team (Kewanee, IL), was overwhelmed 57-26 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL)
The Blue Bullets now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host ROWVA/Williamsfield for a Lincoln Trail battle on Monday, January 31.
The Flying Geese (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 12-14 record. In their last battle, Putnam County was overwhelmed by Hall (Spring Valley, IL), 38-30, in a non-league battle.
