Divine Savior Academy Sharks (Doral, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chaminade-Madonna Lions (Hollywood, FL), 78-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Divine Savior Academy upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Western (Davie, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Western won 43-39 in their recent non-league bout against Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes, FL)

Next up, the Lions play the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams (Davie, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Chaminade-Madonna will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 50-42 non-league loss to Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
