Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cristo Rey Jesuit Cristeros (Chicago, IL), 104-11 in a league bout.

With the victory, Christ the King upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 11-17. Marian Central Catholic won 60-33 in their recent non-league bout against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)

Next up, the Cristeros play the Cristo Rey St. Martin Knights (Waukegan, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Cristo Rey Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record.
