South Dakota High School Basketball - Stanley County can't hold off Crow Creek

The Crow Creek Chieftains basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Stanley County Buffalos to 72 in the Chieftains league triumph on Thursday.
The Chieftains now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dupree for a A Region 6 contest on Saturday, January 28. Crow Creek will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-27 non-league loss to Philip (Philip, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 1-10.
The Buffalos (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves enter the A Region 6 contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was nudged by Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD), 114-46, in a non-league contest.
