The Harlan Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Excel Academy of Englewood Bulls to 52 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Falcons now sport a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richards for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Harlan will battle a Warriors team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Air Force Academy (Chicago, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-14.
The Bulls (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Phoenix Military (Chicago, IL). The Firebird come into the non-league contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Phoenix Military prevailed over Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
