Nebraska High School Basketball - South Platte trounced by Garden County

The Garden County Eagles routed the visiting South Platte Blue Knights basketball team by a final score of 66-28 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Creek Valley Storm (Chappell, NE) in a D2 District 11 game, on Friday, January 27. Garden County will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Storm enter the game with a 2-9 record after their 50-35 non-league loss to Sutherland (Sutherland, NE).

With the defeat, South Platte moves to 5-10 on the year. The Blue knights travel to Paxton (Paxton, NE) to face the Tigers in a D2 District 10 game on Thursday, February 2. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 10-4. Paxton won 51-38 in their recent non-league game against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE)
