The Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) basketball crushed the host Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), 116-30 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Princeton walloped Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN), 77-63, in a non-league test.
The Hilltoppers now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Woods for a A Section 7 test on Friday, January 27. Marshall will encounter a grizzlies squad coming off a 84-65 league loss to Cherry (Iron, MN). The grizzlies record now stands at 7-9.
