In Thursday's non-league match, the host Quilcene Rangers basketball team scored a tight 63-56 triumph over the Northwest Christian Wolverines.
In their next game, the Rangers meet the Pope John Paul II Eagles (Lacey, WA) in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac match, on Tuesday, January 31. Quilcene will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 69-34 league loss to Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA).
With the defeat, Northwest Christian moves to 6-9 on the year.
