Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Lee's Summit, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Paul Lutheran Saints (Concordia, MO), 71-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit Christian Academy upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to University Academy Charter (Kansas City, MO) to clash with the Gryphons in a Crossroads bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Gryphons go into the bout with a record of 3-11. University Academy Charter lost 67-43 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast (Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Versailles Tigers (Versailles, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. St. Paul Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 80-73 non-league win over Fatima (Westphalia, MO).
