The Lutheran Lions basketball team (Parker, CO), was nudged 56-53 in Thursday's league battle with the host Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO)
The Kadets now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis-Palmer for a battle on Wednesday, February 1. Air Academy will battle a Rangers team coming off a 41-33 league win over Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rangers record now stands at 2-3.
The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the battle with a 3-4 record.
