The Douglas County Huskies basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Castle View Sabercats to 38 in the Huskies league victory on Thursday.

The Huskies now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Regis Jesuit for a contest on Tuesday, January 31. Douglas County will battle a Raiders team coming off a 54-41 league loss to Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 2-6.

The Sabercats (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage (Littleton, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Heritage was routed by Ponderosa (Parker, CO), 42-36, in a non-league contest.
