The Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Barrington Eagles to 38 in the Cavaliers league victory on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponaganset for a State Championship contest on Monday, January 30. Juanita Sanchez Complex will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 73-46 league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 11-5.

The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies come into the State Championship contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, East Providence was defeated by Rogers (Newport, RI), 52-20, in a league contest.
