Delaware High School Basketball - Brandywine can't hold off McKean

The McKean Highlanders basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Brandywine Bulldogs to 35 in the Highlanders league triumph on Thursday.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tower Hill for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. McKean will battle a Hillers team coming off a 49-28 non-league win over Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE). The Hillers record now stands at 4-3.

The Bulldogs (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Odyssey Charter (Wilmington, DE). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Odyssey Charter was nudged by Concord (Wilmington, DE), 65-29, in a non-league contest.
