The Vanguard Knights basketball team (Ocala, FL), dropped 56-47 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Buchholz Bobcats (Gainesville, FL)

The Bobcats now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28. Buchholz will confront a Tigers team coming off a 55-54 non-league loss to Madison County (Madison, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-11.

The Knights (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Leesburg (Leesburg, FL). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league battle with a 1-23 record. In their last battle, Leesburg dropped by East Ridge (Clermont, FL), 44-27, in a non-league battle.
