Chazy Eagles (Chazy, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Johnsburg Central Jaguars (North Creek, NY), 45-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Chazy upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Eagles host Tupper Lake (Tupper Lake, NY) to play the Lumberjacks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Keene Central Beavers (Keene Valley, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout, on Friday, February 3. Johnsburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
