Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones (Clark, SD), 51-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Redfield upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Pheasants travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD) to play the Battlers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Battlers come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] lost 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD)

Next up, the Cyclones play the Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Clark/Willow Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
