The DePue Little Giants basketball team (DePue, IL), was nudged 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Serena Huskers (Serena, IL)
The Huskers now possess a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newark for a Little Ten battle on Monday, January 30. Serena will battle a Norsemen team coming off a 42-30 non-league win over Somonauk (Somonauk, IL). The Norsemen record now stands at 16-5.
The Little Giants (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL). The Titans come into the Little Ten battle with a 0-16 record. In their last battle, Illinois Math & Science Academy was nudged by Willows Academy (Des Plaines, IL), 57-29, in a non-league battle.
