Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Temple Tigers (Temple, OK), 75-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Geronimo upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Blue Jays host Grandfield (Grandfield, OK) to play the Bearcats in a Southern Eight bout on Friday, January 27. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Grandfield lost 43-30 in their recent league bout against Ryan (Ryan, OK)

Next up, the Tigers play the Fletcher Wildcats (Fletcher, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Temple will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
