Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Underwood Eagles (Underwood, IA), 62-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Glenwood upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Rams travel to Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA) to clash with the Black Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Black Raiders go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Sioux City East won 66-33 in their recent league bout against Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Audubon Wheelers (Audubon, IA) in a Western Iowa bout, on Friday, January 27. Underwood will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Wheelers go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA).
