Maine High School Basketball - Lewiston trounces Morse

The Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), 52-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Blue Devils (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Stags go into the AA North test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Cheverus walloped Thornton Academy (Saco, ME), 49-35, in a non-league test.
The Shipbuilders now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Westbrook for a A South test on Tuesday, January 31. Morse will encounter a Blue Blazes squad coming off a 51-50 league loss to Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 12-7.
