In Thursday's non-league match, the host St. James Academy Thunder basketball team scored a decisive 64-31 triumph over the Manhattan Indians.

In their next game, the Thunder meet the McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. St. James Academy will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Bullpups enter the match with a 10-1 record after their 47-27 non-league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, KS).
