Florida High School Basketball - Matanzas overwhelmed by University Christian

The University Christian Christians basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Matanzas Pirates to 26 in the Christians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Christians now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. University Christian will battle a Flashes team coming off a 49-18 non-league loss to Menendez (St. Augustine, FL). The Flashes record now stands at 15-7.
The Pirates (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Hagerty (Oviedo, FL). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 23-1 record. In their last contest, Hagerty triumphed over Poinciana (Kissimmee, FL), 81-25, in a non-league contest.
