The Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), 49-16 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Saucon Valley was trounced by Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 40-35, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial - East test on Saturday, January 28. Palisades will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 37-28 league win over Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-3.
