Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nah Tah Wahsh (Wilson, MI), 36-14 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rapid River upgrades its record to 1-12 on the season. The Rockets travel to Stephenson (Stephenson, MI) to play the Eagles in a Skyline bout on Monday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Stephenson lost 34-31 in their recent non-league bout against North Dickinson (Felch, MI)

Next up, the play the Big Bay de Noc Black Bears (Cooks, MI) in a Northern Lights bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Nah Tah Wahsh will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
